- Prepaid and postpaid subscribers in the dtac 1800 network can change their account from a normal SIM to an ATM SIM dtac service halls or dtac shops from 1 March 2008 onwards.
- Users must have a valid savings and/or current account with Kasikorn Bank and a K-ATM card, debit card, or credit card that is authorized to make withdrawals from the users savings account. ATM SIM users must activate ATM SIM service via the ATM SIM menu and confirm subscription at any K-ATM. After confirmation via K-ATM is completed, you can use access the services via the main menus (available in Thai and English). There are 7 menus altogether, including check balance, transfer, payment, setting, recent transactions, transaction summary, and update version.
- Rates for ATM SIM services
- Calling rates are based on users current promotional rates
- ATM SIM service fee: Normal rates – Free 5 transactions/month; 2 baht/transaction for each additional transaction (exclusive of VAT).
International roaming rate – Dependant on overseas SMS rates prescribed by each network operator at the time of usage. Free transactions counted will include the total number of overseas and domestic transactions. Fees for financial transactions shall be charged according to standard Kasikorn Bank’s rates. Users can inquire about the bank's calculation of service fees by contacting the K-Contact Center at 0-2888-8888.
- Users are allowed to make funds transfers and payments not exceeding 500,000 baht per day (daily money transfer limit - 100,000 baht and daily payment limit - 500,000 baht). Fees for financial transactions shall be charged according to standard Kasikorn Bank’s rates.
- To use ATM SIM service, prepaid subscribers must retain a minimum calling credit balance of at least 1 baht and account activation balance of at least 1 day. Postpaid subscribers must maintain normal usage status.
- ATM SIM users may cancel ATM SIM service at any time via a K-ATM machine.
- This promotion complies with terms and conditions prescribed by the service provider. It is recommended that users study additional information before choosing to subscribe by contacting the dtac call center at 1678. The service provider reserves the right to cancel or change promotional details as deemed appropriate. In such event the user will be informed in advance.
